We wanted to make you aware of a scheduled firmware update for Yealink T7/T8 and Poly Edge devices, which will be deployed between 20:00 and 21:00 (UK time) on Monday 12 October 2026.
This enhancement will:
Provide clear visibility of call recording status during active calls. Allow users to start, stop, pause, or resume recordings directly from their device where permitted. Reduce reliance on Feature Access Codes for recording management.
Action Required: None. The update will be delivered automatically through the provisioning platform and no manual intervention is required.
This change will not impact the normal operation of the phones. Devices will receive the update automatically on their scheduled polling cycle or following a reboot.
